Mini Statement |
As a dedicated researcher and lecturer at the College of Business Education since 2015, I specialize in mathematical and statistical modeling. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Dodoma, Tanzania, a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Ghana, and a Master of Science in Statistics and Data Science from the University of Hasselt in Belgium, with a focus on Biostatistics. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Data Science at the University of Dar es Salaam, where I am concentrating on spatio-temporal modeling and forecasting of vector-borne disease endemics, such as dengue and malaria.
In my role as a lecturer, I have the opportunity to integrate my research with teaching, which not only deepens students' understanding of mathematical and statistical methods but also enhances my own research objectives. This dual focus allows me to bridge theoretical modeling with practical applications, offering actionable insights that inform public health strategies and interventions. By leveraging data-driven approaches, I am committed to addressing and mitigating global health challenges while contributing valuable knowledge to the field of business analytics and public health.
