
Towards the peak of the CBE Career Fair celebrations, the Director of Academics, Dr. Godfrey Bukagile, officially opened the activity for the presentation of students’ ideas and innovations from the College of Business Education (CBE) on behalf of the Rector of the college, Prof. Edda Tandi Lwoga.
The event brought together students from various departments who participated in presenting their ideas and innovative projects as part of ongoing activities leading to the Career Fair celebrations at the college. During the opening session, Dr. Bukagile explained the importance of the activity in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and empowering students to use their knowledge to create employment opportunities and become self-reliant after completing their studies.

He further emphasized the role of such activities in helping students transform academic knowledge into practical solutions that can contribute to economic growth and address challenges facing communities, including unemployment. The activity also reflected the college’s commitment to creating an environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking among students from different academic disciplines.
Later, students of the College of Business Education (CBE) presented their innovative works before a panel of judges in order to obtain a winner as part of the preparations towards the Career Fair celebrations. Students from various departments made presentations of their ideas and innovations before the judges, as part of the college’s efforts through the Incubation program to ensure it nurtures strong entrepreneurs who will help address the challenge of unemployment in communities.

The presentations involved students from different departments including Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Measurements and Standards, as well as the Business Management Department. Through their presentations, students demonstrated various innovative ideas and business-oriented solutions developed from the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies at the college.
The judging session formed an important part of the Career Fair activities, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, receive professional feedback, and compete for recognition based on the quality and impact of their innovations. The judges for the event were Moureen Mollel, Mike Mushi from the Tanzania Start Up Association (TSA), together with Jonathan John from the Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO).
