Assumptions University Visits CBE

On the morning of 20 May 2026, the College of Business Education welcomed a delegation of over a hundred students from Assumptions University, based in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Accompanied by their lecturers and by the Deputy Ambassador of the DRC to Tanzania, H.E. Louis Kisombo Manzombi, the group arrived at CBE's main campus for a short but purposeful visit.

The visit carried a clear dual purpose: to explore the possibilities of formal collaboration between the two institutions, and to offer the Congolese students a firsthand look at how CBE operates — its academic culture, administrative structures, and the spirit that shapes daily life on campus.

"The students were given the opportunity to listen to presentations and ask questions about the College's core activities."

During the visit, the delegation was received warmly by CBE's faculty and staff. Presentations were held, giving the students a structured overview of the institution — and space to ask the questions that mattered most to them. The exchange was open and engaged, reflecting a genuine curiosity on both sides.

Closing the visit, the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Research, and Consultancy, Dr. Nasibu Mramba, presented gifts to the Assumptions University delegation — a gesture of goodwill and a marker of the warm institutional relationship the two colleges hope to build going forward.

It was a brief visit — but one that left a clear mark. For the Congolese students, it was a window into a different academic world. For CBE, it was a reminder of the connections that reach beyond borders.
