A team of experts from the College of Business Education (CBE), led by the Deputy Rector for Academic, Research, and Consultancy, Prof. Robert Mashenene, on September 19, 2025, visited the offices of Global Education Link (GEL) in Dar es Salaam. The aim of the visit was to learn about Distance Learning and Internationalization.
The visit focused on gaining experience and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of online learning systems, as well as strengthening CBE’s internationalization efforts, particularly in improving academic partnerships with various institutions around the world.
Speaking during the visit, Prof. Mashenene said that CBE is committed to advancing the use of technology in teaching and learning in order to align with digital transformation.

He added that the college is determined to broaden its international scope.
On his part, the Chief Executive Officer of Global Education Link, Mr. Abdulmalik S. Molel, stated that his institution has over 18 years of experience since its establishment in 2008.
He explained that the institution focuses on providing academic counseling and guidance, collaborating with foreign universities, as well as carrying out promotion and awareness activities to build trust among stakeholders and students seeking international education.
Additionally, the CEO noted that Global Education Link has consistently provided timely services, including assisting students with admissions, expediting visa processing, offering parental loans of up to ten million Tanzanian shillings, and monitoring students’ progress while abroad.
Furthermore, he highlighted that the institution has also been receiving students upon arrival in foreign countries at airports and taking them to hotels to prepare for their new accommodations.
