The new programs prepared by the College of Business Education (CBE) have been approved by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) to begin in the 2025/2026 academic year, with the aim of providing quality, modern education that meets the demands of the labor market both locally and internationally.

This program will be offered in collaboration with the Southwestern University of Finance.
He went on to explain that CBE has also introduced a Bachelor of Digital Technologies Solutions Management with Apprenticeship, aimed at leveraging digital technologies to address national challenges in technology and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
“To support the New Education Policy recently adopted by the Government, CBE has launched a Bachelor of Accountancy and Economics with Education program, designed to produce secondary school teachers specialized in Accounting and Economics in line with the new policy,” Prof. Mganilwa said.
In addition, Prof. Mganilwa explained that to increase the number of competent teachers who will equip youth with skills in Business and Accounting, and to meet the high demand for teachers in secondary schools, CBE has introduced a Bachelor of Commerce and Accountancy with Education program. This will enhance graduates’ ability to secure employment or become self-employed.
“In supporting the Government’s efforts to produce leaders who will uphold ethics, accountability, and transparency in leading institutions, CBE has established a Master of Business Administration in Leadership and Governance (MBA – Leadership & Governance), which will contribute to producing capable leaders to help the nation manage resources and policies effectively,” said Prof. Mganilwa.
On her part, the CBE Rector, Prof. Edda Tandi Lwoga, emphasized that all these programs will be delivered at the highest quality and in consideration of individual economic capacities, without discrimination based on social class.
“We call upon Tanzanian youth as well as those from neighboring countries to join the College of Business Education (CBE) to gain quality education that will prepare them to compete in both the local and international labor markets,” said Prof. Lwoga.
