The College of Business Education (CBE) made a remarkable impact during the NaneNane 2025 International Farmers’ Exhibition, held at the Nzuguni grounds in Dodoma and at the Mbeya grounds. Over several days, the institution welcomed leaders, professionals, students, and members of the public, showcasing its academic programs, innovations, and services with a spirit of openness and hospitality.

Day 1 – Opening Day

The exhibition opened with CBE actively engaging visitors at its booth in Mbeya. Services officially began, and attendees were encouraged to take advantage of free application for the September intake. The booth became a welcoming point for those seeking information on the institution’s programs, opportunities, and its role in advancing business education in Tanzania.

At the Nzuguni grounds in Dodoma, a dedicated team of CBE experts continued their mission to provide education on business studies. Assistant Lecturer Ms. Jackline Kaaya and Admissions Officer Mr. Patric Hosea Mathias spent the day interacting with visitors, answering questions, and sharing insights. The Head of Admissions, Mr. Patroba Chaulo, also reached a wider audience through a live discussion on Ngasa TV, highlighting CBE’s vision and programs.

The day concluded with a special visit from the Director General of the Warehouse Receipt Regulatory Board, Mr. Asangye N. Bangu. During his tour of the CBE booth, he was presented with a gift by Mr. Chaulo as a token of appreciation for his visit and to strengthen institutional ties.

Day 2 – Distinguished Guests

CBE was honored to host the Minister of Defence and National Service, Hon. Stergomena L. Tax—an alumna of the college and Patron of the Dodoma Campus. Her visit underscored her continued connection to CBE and its role in shaping national leadership. She toured the booth, engaging with staff and learning more about the college’s initiatives and programs.

Later in the day, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Dr. Suleiman Serera, visited the CBE booth. He was warmly welcomed by Mr. Chaulo, who presented him with a commemorative gift. The visit further cemented CBE’s relationship with government stakeholders in education and trade.

The Minister for Information, Culture, Arts, and Sports, Hon. Palamagamba Kabudi, graced the CBE booth with his presence. His visit was marked by in-depth discussions about the institution’s ongoing projects, opportunities, and its contribution to Tanzania’s socio-economic and cultural development.

Day 4 – Public Interest and Partnerships

As the exhibition reached its mid-point, large crowds continued to visit the CBE booth to explore the services and opportunities offered by the college. The booth became a hub of activity, with curious learners and prospective students eager to learn more about academic and career pathways. Earlier in the day, Dr. Josephine Churk, Manager of Academics, Research, and Consultancy at CBE Dodoma Campus, toured other exhibition booths to observe and exchange ideas with participating institutions, reinforcing CBE’s collaborative spirit.

The day also welcomed Eng. Prof. Frederick Kahimba, Director General of TEMDO, who visited the booth to better understand CBE’s contributions to industry-relevant education. His interest in the college’s initiatives signaled opportunities for future collaboration.

Another high-profile visitor, Dr. Nicholas Shombe, Managing Director of the National Development Corporation (NDC), toured the booth and was introduced to Huduma Faster, an innovative system designed by a CBE student to enable citizens to access essential services from their homes. Dr. Shombe praised the ingenuity and relevance of the innovation.

In the afternoon, the Regional Commissioner of Dodoma, Hon. Rosemary Senyamule, also visited the booth. She was received by Dr. Churk, who briefed her on the institution’s programs, services, and community impact.

Day 5 – Nanenane Day (8th August 2025)

On the final day of the exhibition, CBE experts were fully prepared to receive visitors for the grand climax of the celebrations, attended by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan. The day marked the official closure of the NaneNane 2025 exhibitions and was a proud moment for the institution. Specialists from various departments worked tirelessly to ensure visitors left with clear, detailed information about the institution and its programs.

The hallmark of the day was CBE’s hospitality. Smiling faces, professional guidance, and an open, welcoming atmosphere made the booth a favorite among attendees. Guests received expert service from highly skilled staff in business education, reinforcing CBE’s reputation for excellence.
