The College of Business Education (CBE) has participated in a Sports Bonanza held in Morogoro Region, which featured football and tug of war for men, as well as netball for women.
Speaking after the event, the trip coordinator from CBE, Mr. Omary Twenye, stated that the bonanza aimed to foster collaboration between CBE and other educational institutions to enhance the development of higher education in the country.
"This bonanza aims to support the efforts of the Sixth Phase Government led by Her Excellency, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, in eradicating non-communicable diseases in the country," said Mr. Twenye.
Additionally, Mr. Twenye mentioned that the bonanza also served as preparation for the upcoming Government Institutions Sports Competition (SHIMUTA), scheduled to take place in October 2025.
The bonanza held in Morogoro featured teams from CBE, Mzumbe University, and the Mzinga Corporation.
