CBE RECEIVES O3 PLUS AWARENESS TRAINING TO EMPOWER STUDENTS



The College of Business Education (CBE) has received awareness training on the implementation of the O3 Plus (Our Rights, Our Lives, Our Future Plus) program, which is implemented in collaboration between UNESCO and NACTVET with the aim of empowering youth to acquire essential knowledge and skills for their lives and community well-being.

Speaking during the opening of the training on behalf of the Rector, the Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs, Research, and Consultancy, Prof. Robert Mashenene, stated that the program aims to build students' life skills, reproductive health, mental health, healthy relationships, gender equality, and the ability to make sound decisions that protect their health and future.

On his part, the Acting Dean of Students at CBE, Mr. Marco Stephano, urged students to fully utilize this opportunity by participating in the O3 Plus training to increase awareness, build essential life skills, and become part of a knowledgeable, responsible generation capable of contributing to community development.

Furthermore, the Training Coordinator from NACTVET, Dr. Vumilia Mmari, stated that the O3 Plus program aims to empower youth to self-discover, understand their rights, build respectful relationships, protect themselves against health and social challenges, and actively participate in building a safe, equitable society with opportunities for all.
