Alumnus of the Month August 2026 - Mr. Victor Elinami Malewo

Victor Elinami Malewo is a distinguished alumnus of the College of Business Education, where he earned an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy in 2004. Today, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Lutheran Investment Company and a respected finance and investment professional with over 15 years of executive leadership experience.

Victor’s career has included influential roles at Barclays Bank, Oikocredit International, and Kenya Commercial Bank. Throughout his journey, he has managed major investment portfolios, structured complex financing deals, strengthened corporate performance, and built strategic partnerships.

Under his leadership, Lutheran Investment Company has achieved significant revenue growth, improved productivity, and delivered impactful projects. He also holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Strathclyde, is a Certified Public Accountant, and serves as a Bank of Tanzania Certified Financial Educator. Victor’s achievements demonstrate the power of education, continuous learning, professional discipline, and visionary leadership in creating sustainable value for organizations and communities.
