CBE Strengthens Collaboration with NHIF for Improved Student Health Services
The Directorate of Students’ Services (DSS) at Dar es Salaam campus held a strategic meeting with officers from the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) – Ilala Municipality on 19th September 2025 at the CBE Dar es Salaam Campus. The session aimed to strengthen coordination and enhance the provision of health insurance services to students for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Two officials from NHIF attended the meeting, reaffirming the Fund’s commitment to supporting students’ welfare through timely and efficient service delivery. NHIF representatives confirmed that the student service desk has been reinforced with additional staff to ensure faster assistance and improved communication with students during registration and throughout the academic year.
During the discussions, both teams reviewed the challenges encountered in the 2024/2025 academic year and explored strategies to enhance efficiency. NHIF further pledged to deploy more personnel during the upcoming registration period to facilitate the smooth processing of insurance matters for all students.
