During the period under review, the Directorate of Students' Services at Mwanza Campus organized a seminar on Personal Finance Management. The seminar was held on 20th May 2025 and 161 students attended. The session was facilitated by Ms. Evelyne Magambo, Manager of PFA at CBE Mwanza Campus. The aim was to educate students on effective financial management and personal development, with an emphasis on building financial stability and independence. Key areas covered were as follows:
- The importance of investing in personal growth, whether through self-employment or formal employment, as a foundation for long-term success.
- Uniqueness among individuals as a basis for understanding that success should not be measured through comparison with others.
- The role of presentability, including appearance, grooming, and behavior, in influencing both personal and professional opportunities.
- The need for students to be viewed as assets rather than liabilities by consistently adding value to their lives and communities.
- The significance of setting positive and realistic personal goals as key indicators of success
