Social Welfare Meeting With CBESO Leaders

During the period under review, the Directorate of Students’ Services at Mbeya Campus organized a meeting with CBESO leaders on 2^nd April 2025. The meeting was led by the Social Welfare Officer, Ms. Frida Kishaluli, who addressed various operational matters, including the specific duties and responsibilities of each leader, with emphasis on avoiding role overlap based on their designated positions.

A total of 28 CBESO leaders including the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Ministers, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, members of the Judicial Organ, and the Chief Secretary attended the meeting.

Key issues discussed during the meeting included:

• Promoting unity and shared responsibility among the leadership team
• Appropriate approaches for handling various student-related matters and complaints
• An open forum that allowed leaders to raise questions and concerns related to administrative and student affairs
