During the period under review, the Directorate of Students’ Services at Mbeya Campus organized a meeting between the Rector and the newly elected CBESO leaders. The meeting, held on 27th May 2025, aimed to introduce the student leaders to the top management team and provide a platform to discuss key academic and administrative issues. Attendees included members of the CBESO Cabinet, the College Student Parliament Secretariat, the Electoral Commission, and the Judicial Organ.
In her remarks, the Rector congratulated the leaders on their election and for accepting the responsibility of serving their fellow students. She emphasized the importance of servant leadership, transparency, and maintaining open and consistent communication between student leaders and college management.
She also encouraged the leaders to be innovative—urging them to develop creative ideas, implement impactful initiatives, and pursue practical solutions that address students’ real needs.
During the session, students had the opportunity to raise questions concerning academic and administrative matters. All questions were comprehensively addressed by the Rector, with support from other college officials.
