The College of Business Education (CBE), in partnership with FINCA Tanzania, has reached a new stage in their strategic collaboration aimed at empowering young people through financial education, employment, and leadership development. The discussions took place on January 27, 2025, at CBE’s Main Campus in Dar es Salaam. The talks were part of a consultation meeting led by Prof. Kembo M. Bwana, Director of Academics at CBE, focusing on identifying practical areas of cooperation that align with the missions of both institutions.
During the meeting, Mr. Renatus D. Mushi, Manager of FINCA Tanzania, presented a partnership framework emphasizing financial inclusion, skills development, and employment. He noted that collaborating with higher education institutions is important to prepare young people for the job market and entrepreneurship. CBE and FINCA Tanzania agreed to implement programs on financial education, practical skills training, employment, leadership development, and soft skills. Follow-up consultations and monitoring meetings are expected to finalize the partnership.
