| Dr. Petro Maziku is a Senior Lecturer and holder of PhD in Agricultural Economics and Business management working with the College of Business Education in Tanzania. He is a graduate from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) graduated in 2002 pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness (BSC. AEA) and he holds a Master of Business Administration in Agribusiness (MBA- Agribusiness) since 2007. Area of research interest are Market Access, Policy analysis, Market Linkage and Value chain analysis, M&E, Data Analysis, Baseline survey on community-based projects and business management. Furthermore, Maziku has been working as researcher and Consultant with both public and private sectors for several years working as an economist, policy analyst, Trade facilitation and Market Linkage expert. Moreover, in the year 2012 he managed to be one of the key team members in designing and Development project for Rice and Beans in East Africa community (EAC), assessment of National Beekeeping Policy and its implementation organized by the Ministry of Tourism and natural Resources in Tanzania. He is also an experienced lecturer, lecturing Business Economics and Business management to different Colleges and Universities in Tanzania and oversea. Dr. Maziku has been also working as a freighting lecturer working with different international University in Germany, Latvia, Ghana and Kenya. He is also a member of various expert national committees including NTBs, TBT and SPS national committee both working under Ministry of Industry and Trade. Apart from engagement in projects and consultancies, he is a Senior lecturer at the College of Business Education (CBE) Dar es Salaam Campus, lecturing Economics, Research Methodology, Production and Operations Management, Econometrics, Commercial subjects and Project management and Planning. Currently, Maziku is a Director of Planning and Development (DPD) at the College of Business Education and a former Manager of Planning, Finance and Administration (M-PFA). | |||
