Dear Members of the College community and esteemed stakeholders, as we embark on the journey into the new year, it brings me great joy to share with you the strategic plans and vision that will shape the trajectory of the College of Business Education (CBE) in 2024. Since its inception in 1965, CBE has evolved into a distinguished institution for business education in Tanzania, a testament to our commitment to excellence.
Our enduring vision is to position ourselves as a leading College, transforming and advancing business education capabilities in our region. To achieve this, we steadfastly remain committed to delivering high-quality education that seamlessly aligns with the dynamic demands of the ever-evolving business landscape.
At the heart of our mission lies the commitment to offering demand-driven and competence-based education. We strive to provide public services of the highest quality through applied research and consultancies, ensuring the relevance and impact of our education. By closely aligning our mission with the evolving needs of industries, we aim to equip our students with the skills and knowledge essential for success in their professional journeys.
We take pride in our four main campuses strategically located in various regions of Tanzania. Our main campus in Dar es Salaam, the commercial hub of the country, provides an environment that meets international standards. Additionally, campuses in Dodoma, Mwanza, and Mbeya offer unique opportunities for our students to explore diverse business possibilities across different regions of our nation. We extend a warm invitation to all students to choose one of our campuses to pursue their studies in business.
Dedicated to providing a holistic and supportive environment, we also welcome international students, ensuring a fulfilling academic journey and fostering meaningful global connections.
In line with our commitment to global collaboration, CBE collaborates with esteemed institutions such as the Association of African Universities (AAU), Enlargen University, Malawi University (UNIMA), Riga Technical University (RTU), Rhodes University, Stockholm University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), and the University of Eastern Finland (UEF). These collaborations contribute to the diversity and richness of the academic experience at CBE.
I am pleased to introduce our New Online Masters Programs, marking a significant stride towards accessible and flexible education. This initiative underscores CBE's commitment to providing high-quality education to a global audience, transcending geographical barriers. With the launch of these online programs, individuals from diverse backgrounds can now pursue advanced degrees in business and economics from the comfort of their homes, fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
The Online Masters Programs at CBE cover a wide spectrum of disciplines, offering a comprehensive and industry-relevant curriculum. As the world embraces digital learning, CBE takes a bold step forward by opening doors to aspiring professionals and scholars for the March intake of 2024. Prospective students have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in areas such as business administration, economics, and more.
