58TH CBE MBEYA GRADUATION CEREMONIES



The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Dr. Hashill Abdallah, has called on graduates of the College of Business Education (CBE) to steer clear of risky behaviors, inappropriate groups, including the use of drugs.

Dr. Hashill made this call on behalf of the Minister of Industry and Trade, Dr. Ashatu Kijaji, during the 58th graduation ceremony at the Mbeya Campus in the hall of the College, Iganzo-Mbeya, on December 2, 2023.

"Graduates, adhere to all that you have been taught and put it into practice for the greater good. You should be innovative in utilizing the knowledge you have acquired to tackle various challenges and avoid inappropriate groups and the use of drugs," said Dr. Abdallah.

Moreover, the Chairperson of the CBE leadership board, Prof. Wineaster Anderson, stated that the Mbeya Campus of CBE has completed 10 years since its establishment in 2013. They have successfully acquired a new 54.9-hectare site in Iganzo and constructed new infrastructure used for teaching and providing other services at the Mbeya Campus.

On her part, the Head of CBE, Prof. Edda Tandi Lwoga, in her speech, mentioned that the institution is celebrating its 58th graduation since its establishment in 1965, with 10 graduations at the Mbeya Campus, totaling 1008 students out of 17205 from the Mbeya Campus.

Furthermore, she highlighted that at the Mbeya Campus, CBE offers various courses at the certificate and diploma levels in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing Management and  Procurement and Supplies.
