The College of Business Education (CBE) collaborated with the Erlangen University based in Germany at the Africity Research Project. AfriCity is a collaborative research, teaching and training project. It explores the causes and effects of environmental change and resource use in Sub-Saharan African cities. The project considers rapid social and economic transformation processes and their external and internal drivers, and assesses the barriers for potentials of social adaptability in the context of inequity, risk, and resourcefulness. This was a four year project from 2017-2021 jointly implemented by the Erlangen University-Germany, Rhodes University-South Africa, Malawi University, Sokoine University of Agriculture and the College of Business Education (CBE), under the sponsorship of Germany Government.
