TO OUR BELOVED STUDENTS

REMINDER ON ADHERENCE TO THE GOVERNMENT DIRECTIVE
Following what is happening around the globe, the government issued a directive to temporarily suspend all academic activities countrywide in efforts to deal with COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, no student is allowed to get back to the College premises until it is announced otherwise. All academic and administrative matters requiring the management attention shall be dealt with later on upon the reopening of the College.

All students are urged to strictly observe this directive to avoid the unnecessary inconvenience of being turned away at the gate upon arrival.

History of CBE

The COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION (CBE) was established in 1965 by the Act of the Parliament. COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION Act No. 31 of 1965. His Excellency, J.K. Nyerere, the first President of the United Republic of Tanzania officially opened the new College in January 1965. The College was officially named the “College of Business Education” (CBE). The said Act of Parliament gives the College its legal status as an autonomous institution with its Governing Body. The College shall be governed and administered in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
