BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE 2020 (BEDC2020)

CALL FOR PAPERS:
We invite academicians, researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders to send their research abstracts, papers, case studies, and posters to the 1st Business and Economic Development Conference (BEDC2020). The conference will be held at Kambarage Hall- Treasury Square Dodoma, Tanzania under the theme “Business and Economic Growth for the Sustainable Development”.

Conference focus/topics
The conference is focused but not limited to the following topics:

Small business and Poverty Reduction Investment, Industrialization, Innovation
Global value chain Economic inequality and Financial Inclusion
Entrepreneurship and business education Climate change and economic development
Gender and business management The digital economy in Africa
Employment in the informal sector Regional integration and market access
Good governance and corruption in business African social-economic development
Digital & Crypto assets (cryptocurrency) Public finance

Important Dates

Submission of abstracts (max 300 words) June 21, 2020
Notification of abstract acceptance June 29, 2020
Submission of full paper July 25, 2020
Notification of Reviewers comments September 30, 2020
Submission of revised papers October 15, 2020
Conference November 19, 2020

Conference Fees
Postgraduate and PhD candidates Tsh. 50,000 Other people Tsh. 100,000 to cover coffee/tea, lunch, and the conference package in soft copy.

SUBMISSION
Make your submission through http://cbe.ac.tz/becc/. The abstract should not be more than 300 words with names of author (s), affiliations, email, phone number, and type of presentation e.g. paper, poster, or case study. Full papers shouldn’t exceed 6000 words, follow Introduction – Method – Results – and – Discussion format.

History of CBE

The COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION (CBE) was established in 1965 by the Act of the Parliament. COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION Act No. 31 of 1965. His Excellency, J.K. Nyerere, the first President of the United Republic of Tanzania officially opened the new College in January 1965. The College was officially named the “College of Business Education” (CBE). The said Act of Parliament gives the College its legal status as an autonomous institution with its Governing Body. The College shall be governed and administered in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
