The training will equip practical hand on skills on fundraising and resource mobilization capacity of civil societies, government institutions, higher learning institutions and other Institutions on best practices and aspects of fundraising and resource mobilization

Objectives:

 Acquire hand on practical approaches for resource mobilizers and fundraisers practitioners at different levels
 To acquire techniques and methods on how Public and Private sector can mobilize resource through public private partnership(3P)
 Improved institutions and Organizations for effective resource sustainability and organizational performances
 Identification on effective planning and reporting of each contracts on grant from development partners
 Effective understanding on various types and techniques of fundraising and resource

The Training Contents; Will be;
 Concept note and Proposal writing, including the Dos and Don’ts of Proposal writing
 Grants and Contract Management preparations for soliciting from Development Partners
 Domestic Resource Mobilization Techniques and Management
 Corporate Engagement: Major Motivations for Corporate giving
 Face to Face as an alternative fundraising channel in Africa

Organized by the CBE Consultancy Bureau (CCB)

Place and Venue; CBE Conference room, Block A, Tanzania
Duration of the training; 15th to 17th August 2019, From 9 A.M to 4 P.M
Facilitators of the training; The training will to be coordinated with facilitators who have vast experience on bilateral and multilateral resource mobilization techniques, including domestic resource mobilization. This training will involve some practical activities, to enable participants to acquire skills and knowledge on fundraising and resource mobilization aspects

PARTICIPATION FEE AND PAYMENT ; Participation fee will be 300,000/= Tshs for Tanzanians Tshs and 220 USD for non Tanzanians and should be banked through account name CBE Consultancy Bureau,

History of CBE

The COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION (CBE) was established in 1965 by the Act of the Parliament. COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION Act No. 31 of 1965. His Excellency, J.K. Nyerere, the first President of the United Republic of Tanzania officially opened the new College in January 1965. The College was officially named the “College of Business Education” (CBE). The said Act of Parliament gives the College its legal status as an autonomous institution with its Governing Body. The College shall be governed and administered in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
