Training on Tendering Procedures & Bid Evaluation From 23rd to 24th May, 2019 

Training Background 
Effective tendering procedures and bid evaluation are the most important part of the procurement process.
This training workshop is intended to equip participants with the methodologies and techniques applied during preparation of tendering documents and evaluation of tenders and proposals in order to facilitate ongoing contract management. The training covers each step of the tendering processes and procedures as well as the different techniques and approaches used in evaluating the bids.

Training Objectives & Contents
On completion of this training participants will be able to:
i) Determine the procurement strategy choices available for a given opportunity
ii) Selecting the best form of contract
iii) Prepare bidding documents based on standard bidding documents prepared by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA)
iv) Create an appropriate evaluation methodology to judge bids and tenders
v) Conduct tender evaluation and selection procedures and recommendation for award by using best practices and principles that guide evaluation team
vi) conduct bid preliminary evaluation, technical evaluation and financial evaluation
vii) Maintain integrity and confidentiality in tender evaluation and award

Course Fees:
The course fee of TZS 120,000 (for Tanzanians)) covers costs of facilitation, training materials (stationery and other consumables), venue, light refreshments. Participants/clients are expected to meet their transport costs to and from the venue, accommodation, healthcare and other allowances if applicable for participants.
