HANDS-ON TRAINING ON MOODLE FOR EDUCATORS

The College of Business Educatation (CBE) oganized a comprehensive workshop on E-learning System (Moodle). The purpose of this workshop was to empower educators with the skills and strategies needed to leverage Moodle as a tool for enhancing teaching quality, facilitating impactful learning experiences, and implementing robust assessment practices online classrooms.

The facilitators of this training were Mr. Mafuru Altenausi from CBE, Ms. Safina Kinyogoli and Mr. Rahim Mohame all from Muhimbili university of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS). 

Hereunder are some skills which were impacted to the participants 
•  Navigating the Moodle platform and exploring key course features and course contents organization.
•  Create visually appealing and interactive online courses, incorporating multimedia elements to enhance learner engagement and 
motivation.
• Design a range of assessments, including quizzes, and assignments, aligning them with learning outcomes and pedagogical goals.
• Utilizing Moodle's tracking tools to monitor student progress, analyze engagement patterns, and provide timely and constructive 
feedback.
