Admission Requirements

Holders of

  • “A” Level Secondary Education Certificates (i.e. Form VI) with at least two Principal passes; which add up to 3 points or higher; or
  • Two years Diploma from a reputable institution relevant to the degree course applied for; or
  • NTA Level 6 in relevant programme; or
  • ATEC II (NBAA); or
  • Foundation Stage II (PSPTB/NBMM)

Bachelor Degree in Legal and Industrial Metrology

Admission Requirements

  • “A” Level Secondary Education Certificate (i.e. form VI) with at least two Principal Level passes  which must be mathematics and Physics which add up to at least 2.5 or higher;
  • Full Technician Certificate (FTC), in the relevant field, from a recognized Technical College or;
  • Any other equivalent qualification.

BASIC TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE (NTA LEVEL 4) COURSES IN BUSINESSADMINISTRATION, ACCOUNTANCY, MARKETING, PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY, AND INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

 

Admission Requirements: 

Basic Technician Certificates

All programmes except Legal and Industrial Metrology and Information

and  Communication Technology

Holders of: 

  • National Training Award  (NTA) Level 3 (NVTA - VETA),  or
  • Form IV with at least 3 passes excluding religious subjects, or
  • NABE II with at least three passes in relevant subjects.

 

Basic Technician Certificate in Industrial and Legal Metrology:-

Holders of:

  • Form IV with at least 3 passes in English, Mathematics and Physics, but excluding religious subjects.

              Basic Technician Certificate in Information and Communication Technology:-

                       Holders of:

  • NTA Level 3,  or
  • Form IV with at least 2 passes with a minimum of “C” grade in both Mathematics and English subjects and/or Form IV Certificate with experience in computing industry of not less than two years.

Course Objectives
The programmes are designed to enable students to:

  • Acquire the requisite understanding of the total business world.
  • Develop practical skills for effective management and confidence building in terms of know how.
  • Assess latest developments and dynamic situations so as to identify opportunities for profitable business.
  • Prepare students to pursue the Masters courses at any reputable university of Business Studies.

Admission Requirements:
Applicants for Postgraduate Diploma Programmes must have a minimum of any first degree or a good second class advanced diploma or it’s equivalent.

Course Duration
The PGD courses commence in October each year for both full-time and Night College Courses. However, There is an additional in-take in June of each year for Night College Courses. The duration of the course is one academic year consisting of two semesters lasting 15 weeks each for fulltime and 22 weeks each for Night College. The two semesters are intercepted by short vacations in between. Research Project is done in parallel with other subjects during semester II.

Awards
Depending on the specialization, upon completion Of the course the graduate will be awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management, Marketing, Investment Management or Business Administration.

THE TWO YEAR DIPLOMA (NTA LEVEL 5 AND 6) COURSES IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ACCOUNTANCY, MARKETING, PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY, AND INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

 

Admission Requirements

These are as follows:-

              All programmes

  • Form Six Examination Certificate with at least one principal or  two subsidiary Passes of the combination subjects or
  • Form IV with five (5) passes plus a one (1) year course from a NACTE recognized institution.
  • NTA- Level 4 (Basic Technician Certificate) in the programme applied for
  • ATEC I (NBAA)
  • Foundation Stage I (PSPTB/NBMM)
